Apollo Tyres Ltd has expanded its innovative AWE 723+ dual excavator tyre range, adding two new sizes (280/70-22.5 and 220/80-17.5) to suit mid-size excavators up to 16 tonnes and compact models between 6 and 10 tonnes. The new additions, which were unveiled last week at the Bauma 2025 construction and industrial machinery and equipment show in Munich Germany, ensure the AWE 723+ range now caters for excavators from 6 to 26 tonnes.
The Apollo AWE 723+ features a unique tubeless diagonal construction that provides superior stability and durability. Unlike traditional dual excavator tyres, the AWE 723+ eliminates the need for a spacer to prevent sand, stones and debris from getting stuck between tyres, while its broad dual tread provides additional sidewall protection, even under extreme loads and in severe conditions. Its design delivers a larger footprint to enhance traction, stability and flotation on softer soils.
Launched two years ago, the original 300/80-22.5 156B AWE 723+ tyre is suitable for excavators up to 26 tons. This tyre is ideal for heavy-duty excavator operations, offering high levels of stability, traction and durability under difficult working circumstances.
More and more excavator operators are looking for tyres that offer consistent and reliable performance, as well as the ability to handle a variety of terrain and changing on-site challenges. The expanded AWE 723+ portfolio gives operators increased choice for a wide range of applications.
“Launching this extended range at Bauma was a big moment for us,” says Laurence Bennett , Head Off-Highway Tyres at Apollo Tyres Ltd. “It reflects the growing strength of our portfolio and the dedication of our teams who brought it to life. As infrastructure and construction activity continue to expand across Europe and beyond, Apollo Tyres’ expanded range is poised to meet growing demand for dependable and tough off-highway tyres.”
The new sizes will be available for order across Europe starting this quarter.
