Castrol has launched a new low-viscosity engine oil for use in a wide range* of Peugeot, Citroën, DS and Opel/Vauxhall vehicles. Castrol MAGNATEC 0W-20 FE has been designed for petrol and diesel engines introduced from 2018 wherever the manufacturer recommends PSA B71 2010. The new lubricant is also compatible with ACEA C5/C6 and API SP industry specifications.
Castrol MAGNATEC 0W-20 FE will enable workshops to service a significant number of vehicles that are powered by the 1.2 PureTech and 1.5 BlueHDi engines, including the Peugeot 208, 2008 and 308, the Citroën C3, C3 Aircross and C4, and the DS3 and DS3 Crossback. It is also compatible for Opel/Vauxhall vehicles featuring the 1.2 Turbo and 1.5 Diesel engine including the Corsa F, Crossland, Mokka, Astra K and Grandland.
By stocking Castrol MAGNATEC 0W-20 FE, workshops can simplify their inventory management and ensure compatibility with nearly 40% of the total car parc of these combined brands** in a select number of European markets***.
Castrol MAGNATEC has been developed to meet the unique demands of modern driving. A significant 75% of engine wear happens at the start of a journey and continues when cars accelerate, slow down and idle in city driving.
Castrol MAGNATEC clings like a magnet to critical engine parts and locks in place to deliver 50% better engine wear protection****. This helps to safeguard an engine’s vital components, including the valvetrain, timing chain, pistons, and bearings, from damage and wear.
The latest addition to the MAGNATEC product range is available to workshops in various pack sizes, including 60-, 208- and 1,000-litre capacities.
